Welcome to Central Illinois Aikikai online. The purpose of this site is to offer information about our Dojo and Aikido in general.

Central Illinois Aikikai is affiliated with Hombu Dojo (Tokyo) and The United States Aikido Federation (USAF). Individuals interested in Aikido are welcome to watch any class. For more information, please call (217) 384-6370 and leave a message or e-mail one of our instructors, Rick Kubetz.

Dojo News

Donald Levine, 4th Dan of Aiki Extensions will be offering a workshop at the UIUC School of Music for string players, focusing on using "Aiki" concepts in music, on March 14, 7:30-9:00 pm and March 15, 10:30am-noon. See the flyer.

Events at the UIUC Japan House -- Spring 2008

Spring Open House will be Saturday, April 12, 2008, 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Tea ceremonies, tours and a special guest will be part of the festivities. More details online at the Japan House site.
